What is Seesaw?
Seesaw is a digital learning platform for elementary school students, their teachers, and their families. It is used to share the happenings in the classroom, as well as keep families involved in student learning.
Ease of Use
Seesaw is very easy to use. It has built-in tutorials and community forums should you need more help. For teachers, it has a quick set-up and can easily add students or connect the classroom rosters. For students, it has visuals and large buttons, as well as simple instructions o how to use it, so early readers are able to use it as well. For parents, they get alerts when their child is posting, so they can be kept up-to-date on classroom activities.
Versatility
Seesaw is versatile because it has a broad range of subjects (math, science, reading, social studies, art, and music), grade levels, and different goals. You can do assessments, make interactive worksheets, and you can assign different tasks to different students. Plus, students can submit work from home using the app.
Use in the Classroom
Seesaw is something I would consider in my own classroom. I like the idea that I can share student work with parents in real-time. It is important for parents to know what is going on inside the classroom.
Connection
Seesaw can be tied to TLC: T2 Assessing. Teachers can use Seesaw for assessment. Teachers are able to check for progress over time, since student work is saved in the student's journal.

Hi Tiffany! I like how you mentioned that Seesaw has many built-in forums and communities that can be used in case parents, teachers, or students need help! I think that is useful to know when interacting with new websites/platforms. I also enjoy that you linked a video that promotes learning outcomes! I look forward to seeing more of your blog posts.
