What is Kahoot?
Kahoot is an game based platform that allows teachers to make quizzes, surveys, and discussions that students can participate in using their own electronic devices. Games can be in real-time or asynchronous and are accessed through a PIN
Ease of Use
Kahoot is very user-friendly. To join a game, you simply go to the website or the app (you must be online) and enter the PIN given by the host. To host a game, you create a quiz and then share the PIN with your group.
Versatility
Kahoot is a very versatile platform. You can make live quizzes, do assessments, and even make assignments right in the app. There are also different types of quizzes you can make, such as multiple choice and fill in the blank. Plus, you can also use Kahoot to make polls.
Use in the Classroom
Kahoot is definitely something I would use in my own classroom. I like the idea that I can make assessments fun and interactive. It keeps the mood light and allows students to be competitive while also learning and allowing me to figure out where my students are in their learning.
Connection
Kahoots can be tied to the TLC: T2 Assessing. Kahoots allows for easy assessment of student learning through interactive quizzes.

Hello Tiffany, I would also use Kahoot in my classroom because its a way for students to have some fun in the class but you can also see what the students need more work on and what the students already know. Thank you for your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Tiffany. I like your post about Kahoot. I think it is an important tool we can use in classrooms where students can use brain breaks but also learn new things or study the things they have gone over in class.
